To reach Route 66 Park drive west on Interstate 44 to the Lewis Road exit, staying on the north outer road. Continue straight (west) from the Lewis Road intersection into the Park. This road and the bridge you cross are part of Historic Route 66. Continue straight to the trailhead on the right side of the road.
Route 66 State Park is operated by the Missouri Department of Natural Resources. The site of this park was formerly the City of Times Beach. Restrooms and water are located in the park. There are additional trails in this park beside the Meramec Greenway Trail.
From the trailhead follow a marked trail to the Meramec Greenway Trail, which parallels the river through the park.
